FINANCIAL ADVISOR

We are seeking an experienced Financial Advisor who is passionate about building long-term client relationships and providing strategic financial guidance. The ideal candidate will have an established client base or a strong network for business development. As a Financial Advisor at Townsend Wealth Management, you will work directly with partners and clients to develop customized financial plans, manage investment strategies, and provide ongoing client education. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and meetings
- Conduct in-depth financial assessments to understand clients’ goals, risk tolerance, and financial needs
- Provide ongoing client education on market trends, financial planning topics, and investment strategies
Financial Planning & Advisory Services
- Develop and implement customized financial plans, including retirement, investment, estate, and tax planning strategies
- Help clients navigate major financial decisions such as retirement, education funding, business succession, major asset financing, or wealth transfer
Investment Management & Strategy
- Monitor the economy and financial markets and help develop the firm’s views on investment strategy
- Analyze client portfolios and explain past performance based on the economic and market environments
- Analyze prospective client portfolios to determine potential sources of unrewarded risk, as well as strategies to mitigate those risks
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives
General
- Ensure compliance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements
- Handle confidential information with absolute discretion
- Use technology and planning tools to enhance client service and operational efficiency
- Develop proficiency with industry-specific software to assist in servicing clients
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements
- Perform other related duties as required.
Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and 5+ years of experience as a financial advisor. Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation strongly preferred.
